Summons to court for child support

i been summoned to court cuz i was unable to pay child support for 4 weeks my job sometimes has work sometimes it don;t i can be off for couple weeks is there anything i can do so i don;t have to go to court

My guess is you'll have to go. I'd be surprised if you are really only 4 or so weeks behind. You usually have to be farther behind than that.

Finding a job with steady work is your best bet.

As hard as it is, it may help to put aside reserves for the time you cannot get work.

...and/or you can always try to explain to the judge the situation and seek a reduction in payments to reflect the average of your weekly or monthly pay over time.
