Confused GAL trouble

What if the Gal in my Ohio custody case is not enforcing the existing shared parenting plan, while my child's father has temporary custody of our son?

It's not up to the GAL to enforce the plan. You insist that it be followed...TO the father, if he refuses, contempt of court.

A Guardian Ad Litem is only in place to represent the child.

If the father is not following the custody order, you may petition a Motion to Enforce and/or a Motion for Contempt.

Exclamation Re: GAL trouble

Even if she was GAL on the case, signed and agreed that our court order was in the best interet of our child when it was journalized in '07, and then reassigned to the case when it was reopened in '08? and is still pending while our child is clearly suffering? mentally, emotionally, and academically (fully documented by doctors and schools). He disclosed the case to legal aid, intentionally (definetly NOT financially qalified!), so that I have no have legal representation.

Regardless the GAL is not in anyway interested in what benefits either you or your ex. I think this is the first time that I agree with GByte. Anyway, these cases get very ugly very fast. The GAL is going to give the court their opinion on what they think is best for the child.
