Can I stop my Ex

I live in Virginia and my ex-husband wants to take our 16 year old son out hunting. I am very much against guns and I fear for my boys safety. We have joint custody but my ex has primary and I am secondary. They are planning on going Sat 10-3-09 so I only have tomorrow to take legal action. Is there anyway I can go to court and stop this?

Probably not....does your son have his hunting license? those are usually required.... As much as you dislike it, he is 16. Two years from being a legal adult. If he wants to hunt, the father wants to take him and he has a hunting license...there's not much you can do in my opinion. You can consult with an attorney, but I think you're going to have to let it go....

Save the money, and pick your battles..this one you will not win.

He doesn't have a license, that is what they are planning to do on Sat. He is taking a class in the AM and will receive a licence. I'm scared to death of guns and i'm afraid my son will be hurt.

Thats common with hunting and gun classes, i'm sure his dad will make sure it goes well

That hunting class teaches both gun and hunter safety.
