mom is unfit i want custody

i want to get custody of 3 kids, the kids of my friends granddaughter. in my opinion, she is not a good influence on them, or raising them with good morals( especially her oldest daughter, whos 11). shes a liar, and a cheater who has lead her husband to believe hes the father, when he is not( what is that teaching her kids, that its ok to cheat on your spouse, have kids with different men, and get away with it?) how can i about getting custody, and raising them the proper way?

There is NO way you will get custody based on this post. If she and/or the legal father is beating them up, neglecting them severly (not just in the morals dept - I'm talking food, school and medical care) and they're about to be put into foster care...MAYBE - but still difficult.

Get the best lawyer you can, spare NO expense, file the papers. When you get to court after a lot of upfront legwork by your attorney (spending the $$ is important), you will walk in and be told to get the heck out!

You have no legal right to the child. Sadly, in this country, biological parents come first and are the only ones legally considered in any sort of custody arrangement. It's silly, as we all have learned in our life experiences that the bio parents aren't always the proper choice in raising a child, but that is our shabby law currently. While we've catapulted ourselves into the 21st century in other ways, this area seems forever shaded in the dark ages.

You have absolutely no chance at fighting or, or winning custody of these kids. The best you can do is report her to Child Protective Services, which you should do immediately if you believe the children are in danger or living in neglectful and abusive conditions.
