Your best action is to get a court order. This way there can be no arguements

He will get visitation, and he will get alot of it. because it benifits the child for both parents to raise the child. And how could you refer to your baby as It? Also he will get over nights with the baby and he should that is HIS child as much as yours.

It appears the poster is trying to refrain from revealing the sex of the chid. So instead of using him/her, she said it. I don't think it was meant in a heartless fashion.

I agree. But some have poor impulse control and feel the need to quibble about anything that strikes a nerve in them personally. A psychiatrist is more qualified to indulged these deeply trouble souls.

I wonder if they required a sign in on here, if the idiots would just go away.

Once paternity is legally established ( i know GBYTE never thinks this is a big deal), he will responsible for child support and will initially granted some visitation. The amount can depend on the lawyers and judge. If you are both young, the visits will be more supervised and probably not overnight quickly, but on the other hand, I received overnight weekend visits when my baby was 2 months old.

The important part is you both save the initial 6 months of turmoil and arguments that accompanies these type of separations and do what is best your child, and keep all lines of communication open, and both of you compromise when you can.

It all depends on if married on unmarried. "Separated" could mean either...

Married or unmarried does change things initially.
