Confused joint custody/full custody

if I give my ex-wife full custody of our 2 girls, do I have to pay her more money. Right now we have joint custody. we both are remarried and the girls are older now, and are involved in sports. So I dont see them as much and I have 3 little ones in my new marriage. its a little hard. they also told me that they want me to come up and see them, but they wont make time to come and see me-too busy. what can i do.

If you just don't excercise your parental rights, since your new family has gotten so busy, that is your choice to do so. If the mother decides to take you back for a modification of child support since you aren't excercising your rights, that is her choice to do so.

It isn't up to you to decide if she receives full custody, it is the court's decision. If a court rules that she be granted full custody of the kids, yes, you will most likely end up having your child support obligation increased.

If she wants it the court would give her more money but if she does not ask for it or file in court she does not by law get more money.
