back child support?

my dad left my mom when i was 1 month(baby) so he never did not make child sopport to me and no help at all, now im 28 years old and at this age he did not give me sopport

im american citizen what can i do at my age

There are many questions that need answering.

Were your parents married during the time you were born? Was there ever a court order in regards to child support?

Was it ever established that he was the biological father?

More info is needed before any sound advice can be provided.

That's not necessarily true.

If a court order established child support and the child never received any, her or her mother can go after back child support via their state agency.

What happen during the last 10 years, from 18 till 28 ?

Was there a court order ?

What does your mother say ?

I say let it go, and move on with your life.

It's unclear why posters are attacking the adult child as if he/she had any control over the matter. Perhaps this person just found out recently that his/her father did not support him/her.

The adult child can go after arrears. He/she needs to contact their state's child support agency and go from there.

Not unless there was a court order, he can not go after arearage.

Not enough info to make any real leagal adive.

Find out if any court order was made. Then pursue the case.
