Question Foster care with two states

My husband and I are currently involved with an ICPC case with his kids. We have pretty much won the case since the ICPC was approved and they have told us that they have to go to court to release his kids from foster care.

My question is how does visitation with the bio-mom work. Will she be able to call us whenever she wants, will she be able to come here, and will they ship the kids back and forth??

thank you for any reply,

It would be my guess that the courts would need to be involved. Will she WANT to be involved with the kids? Why were they in foster care?

I think she'd have to file for custody (which she apparently already lost) or parenting time. Whether or not you should allow contact without one would probably depend on what happened to get them in the situation they are in now. Do you have an attorney?

the courts are involved, there was a 1028 and we have won that, yes we have two attorneys but sometimes i just like more advice.

i am just wondering what goes on at the dismissal conference when we pick up the kids.

It's counter productive to test the advice of two attorneys involved.

If you're looking for other people's experiences with this type of situation, that's one thing, but keep in mind that everyone's experience is different.

The biological parent would have to abide by what the court orders.
