Mum and step dad on drugs

Can any1 help me out my mum is on cocaine and my step dad is on weed i dont know if i should tell the police cuz my grandma said its a family matter any my baby brother of 13months will be taken away i dont wont my mum or step dad to hate me there nice people and i dont wont to get them in prison forever or something...

You definately should call the police if you are sure. You may be able to make a report anonymously (that is refuse to identify yourself). She wouldn't go to jail forever and may get the help she needs.

Foster care is a possibility for you and the baby IF the situation is really bad. Is your father in the picture? Can you contact him?

ye my father is there but the baby isnt his he has 8 other kids with my step mum so he cant do much =[

I know he wouldn't be able to directly help the baby...but he may be able to help you.

Unfortunately, this is becoming a lot more of the norm these days. If every child were taken away from parents who were addicted to one substance or another, the welfare system would be in an epidemic right now.

Are you being abused or neglected? How old are you?

Maybe they would consider counseling or drug treatment etc. if the child complains that he will go to the authorities or social services if something is not done.

Maybe that step first??

im 13 just goin 14 im find they dont abuse me but i dont know now cuz i realy dont wont my brother to go to care sorry i havnt been to repily my computer broke i have spoke to my dad ( real dad ) about it he said he will try to help and that i can move in with him if i realy needed to
