Suspect drug use

After several months of irratic behavior - Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde, constant lying & stories for no reason,etc, yesterday I dropped my 3 children off at their father's house. He was not there (he knew we were coming), I walked into the bathroom & sitting on top of the washing machine, in broad daylight, is a broken mirror, knife, a small straw. Unable to determine if anything was on or in the white straw. With this finding, I looked elsewhere - surface only, I did not "dig" around for anything. Sitting on top of a dresser in the hallway, was another straw exactly the same as the first I saw, except this one was blue. Inside was what appeared to be a white powdery substance. I pocketed the straw. I took a picture of what I saw in the bathroom.

He knows what I saw - flew off the handle completely, screaming & yelling at me. Naturally, denying anything & everything pertaining to this. However, he adamently refused to take a drug test when I suggested it to him to "clear" his name.

We have been separated for 1.5 yrs (no paperwork filed.) Can I take this to the family court & get a court ordered drug test? And if yes, what type of test will they order? What will happen if he doesn't comply? What do I do???????
