Mother is moving out of province with 16 year old. At present equal custody.
What can be done ?

There used to be a canadian poster on here...she'd need the courts permission more than likely if the equal custody is through the courts...

I am an Canadian poster and I work in the provincial buliding in the province that I live in and we all stay inter connected so maybe I can help.
At 16 the child thoughts would have some weight. The mothers reasons for moving would be considered and what she's willing to offer for access. They would look at the relationship between both parents and the child. Your access agreement & if you have a mobility agreement.
How far away she's moving etc.

You would need to prove why the move is not in your daughters best interest. What province does she want to move from and what province does she want to move too?
