I have joint guardianship over my step-grand-daughter. Now my wife is divorcing me and is asking for child support. Am I liable?

No...the parents of the child owe her child support. Not you.
I don't think there is much chance she can get support from you. Say you live in a 500k home and your wife is a "homemaker" and "getting" the home (for now or temp). Maybe. Under normal cirucumstances, no. You'll need to talk to an attorney. There is an ask an attorney page here for 10 dollars or consult with a local attorney. |
