hi.


Im a mother of a six month old baby, i just gave birth last october 24, 2008. The father of my son gave me USD 1,351.35 last august 1,2008 for my delivery. We are not married because he is married with a girl who happened to have a family also but not separated legally.

I tried to ask for three times to him to help me for some financial support with my son, unfortunately he replied once but not related on the question im asking for my baby. and it seems he doesnt want to extend any financial help for his son. i just received a money from him once last august 1, 2008. as of now im a jobless mother, i had a contractual work only, its an on-call job. this april i did not have any income.

please help me what to do as i want to oblige the father of my son to give him his monthly allowances as he is presently working in United Arab Emirates. If i only have a stable job, i will not insists my self to ask something from him but i dont have any choice. i sold most of my jewelries to sustain the needs of my son for his milk,diapers,immunization,vitamins,etc.

You can file in court locally--where you are and get a child support order.

You can enforce it internationally in most developed countries.
