really concerned mom

Hello! I'm a mom of 2 and am the primary custodian of my kids. My ex husband was laid off of his job a couple of months ago but he will receive his full pay as severence until at least the beginning of next year. He is threatening to take me to court to get child support from me. Can he do that since I am primary custodian and he is non custodian? I do have a full time job but don't make a whole bunch of money and trust me, the child support that I have been getting wasn't enough to pay for everything the kids needed. I have had to supply most of everything. Which I certainly do not mind doing. I don't even mind not getting child support anymore once my ex is out of a job. I don't want to make things harder for him, but why would I have to pay him child support when the kids live with me? Not to mention once his severence is done I am going to have to add the kids to my medical insurance and that will be coming out of my paycheck too. Again, I don't mind, they are my kids and I will provide. I just don't see why I need to be paying him in addition to all the living expenses for my kiddos.

Do I have anything to worry about?

Thanks, that is what I thought too. He is just being very hard headed about this and acting as if he is absolutely in the right. I think maybe the stress of losing his job has made him lose his mind as well!! LOL
