Angry cps custody battle: sister wanted to take sole custody thru the courts

My son was taken into cps custody back in july.My sister wanted to take sole custody thru the courts, cps told her no because of her age and living arrangements/income.My sister works fulltime has current stable home and a clean record. They also brought up the issue that my son is mentally disabled, and would be too hard to deal with.My sisters job consists of her as a caretaker in handling developmently mentally ill disabled adults. She is over qualified to care for a handicapped person. And has never had a drug problem.I dont see the problem why my sister age19 cant have custody of my son age 9.

Umm...why can't you? She is pretty young. Working with the handicaped and living with and raising one to old to actually be your son (when you are only 1 year into adulthood) are two different things.

where is your sons father? he rights are greater then your sisters. unless dad can be proven unfit, he is first in line for custody
