. my son has legal joint custody of my grand daughter , he works in the nuke field , when he travels can he tell to his ex that he wants his daughter (my grand daughter ) on the days he would normally have her to be with me ? tues thurs every other weekend (ex has mon wed every other weekend ) ex is remarried and has 3 step children and 2 with her new hubby and there is plenty of emotion problems with the 3 step children stuttering bed wetting poor school grades , my granddaughter is picking up the unkindness of her moms attitude to these children (grand daughter just turned 5) advise needed not looking to cause any problems at all

he has control over the child when the order says he does so he can say that yes...if she disagrees how the child's time is being spent she has to go to court and explain why and get a more strict order...which she is not likely to get
