Typically a non-custodial parent is allowed to call once a day. Some schedules limit that to 3 times per week.

I personally bought my daughter a phone - you can get a $20 a year landline that works through a computer and the internet (called a magic jack)...I went with a cell phone. That way he can call her whenever he wants and she has a speed dial to call him.

Yeah, do that if you want the mother calling her constantly.
Or don't do it, and actually have some uninterrupted quality time with your daughter.

Unregistered how does your daughter feel about her calling so often? Also did you and her have any agrement on her calling either by msa,or among each other? If not then and you have primary custody i would say it's all up to you.but in all fairness consider the childs feelings on the subject. best regards

The child has TWO parents. The men AND women that forget that - or want to pretend it isn't true - really drive me crazy.

Trust me....not having to answer the phone when the ex calls is AWSOME! Giving your child some degree of normallcy by giving them the freedom to have the other parent whenever they want is also AWSOME (though my ex is a complete moron). Fixed all my stress issues of answering the phone everyday. Turned out it was just his girlfriend of the month instigating it though. It stopped when she dissppeared. It's now rang 2 times in 5 months.

My counties standard schedule gives the parent not with the child 1 call per day more if sick. The child can call the other parent as often as wanted.
