Having a judgement AT ALL hurts your credit.
Judgements usually have to be paid before you are allowed a mortgage of any sort...so it's good they are paid. Either way - it could hurt or stop you from getting a build loan/mortgage or refinance now. Especially in this market and if the judgements occured in the last two years. A good excuse and a REALLY high credit score might get you through the "manual underwriting" procedures to get what you need.
