Single mother and custody Canada??

Hello,

I am a single mother. My little one is just a fewe months old and there is no dad listed on any paperwork. I was wondering if this automatically gives me full custody of my child or if I would have to still go for full custody?

I do hope you don't get away with the child that easily.Have you atempted to look for daddy?I don't know. Even if there is no FATHER on birth certificate don't mean you dont know who Daddy is. Would it be fair to say that?

I think you would already have full custody.

in canada if father is not on birth certificate then you are the sole costodian however its not legal to have legal custody you must go to court
