ex-wife commited adultery and is now filling for child support
In 2003 my ex-wife in the Philippines met a guy in the internet who resides in California and in 2005 she filed for annulment against me. While the annulment is still in process she was pregnant with him. Please note that while all these are happening I am here in Alaska having no knowledge about the annulment being processed. We have a daughter who resides with her. As the annulment came to conclusion late 2005. The guy started to process a fiance visa for her. In August 2006 I received a call from my ex-wife and surprised me that they are already in California with my daughter without my consent. Now after a couple of years...She have filed a child support against me for my daughter with her.My concern or question is... Is there anyway I could fight this case to deny my ex-wife for child support and to have custody of my daughter? Because thinking about what she have done in the past seem like adultery to me...

Your in Alaska, she's in the Philipines. Would she really need your consent to move into the same country???
You don't think you should have a financial responsibility to support your daughter but you feel the mother shouldn't move without your consent? Really?? Um...you'll pay child support. |

Really!Alot of peoples prime directive for custody. Is so they can recive child support. Then again its always better to have the child. And recive child support. That is the good stuff. Be a full custodial parent.Stability is key!

You will have to pay support as long as your Ex wife is living in the USA and the DA has your file open. So, save your money because you will be getting a big, big bill courtesy of the USA. No court will give you custody, unless she is an unfit mother. And if your find out she is the battle to prove this will be long and costly, but not impossible.
Adultery? huh, the marriage system is a no-fault, and no court will consider her actions. She could give, BJ's to everyone in California and still get child support from you. |

As the new wife(5 years now), I am dismayed to think that everything in life comes down to money! My husband`s ex wife decided to take up Tramping as an occupation, when she was caught out, she decided to flee, taking his 2 step children and 3 daughters, he is English she is American, she went from Washington to Seattle, leaving him to deal with everything left behind, she set up home and decided he could travel the distance to collect his girls, he did this and paid her living expenses, then she decided to set up home with the step childrens dad in Texas. My husband`s contact was then "cancelled " by her.She then left Husband No1 a second time and remarried. My husband returned to the UK , a broken man.He has spent the best part of 16 years trying to rebuild his life in the UK, and by a stroke of luck, found his girls on facebook, they want a relationship with their Dad, and we are doing all we can to make this happen. Then his Ex seizes the opportunity to chase him for Back payments of child support!!!!!! My point is...........do women have any sense of pride or intellegence when it comes to their kids?????? keep the daddy away, incase the kids find out the other side of the story....but take his money! she could have chased him anytime, and given him access to the girls.
