Temporary Custody (with no expiration date?)

How can someone get temporary custody of your child with no expiration date ? How can we go about getting my boyfriends son back ? My boyfriends mom has custody of his son and we have been trying to get him back but no lawyerr will take the case ......why?......what can we do ?

You can schedule a hearing for a permanent order. A permanent order can still be changed if circumstances change materially but otherwise will continue.

WE can do nothing. your bf can file for custody, he is the only one who has legal standing here. you have none. this is not your child.

STAND BY YOUR MAN!!! Even if YOU don't have "legal standing" Support him, keep asking questions for him- 'Cause if he's like my husband he probably works 8-5(or similar) the same hours that everyone else is available- but plays phone tag for weeks...GOOD LUCK!
