Yup. I just want to keep my daughter healthy and comfortable. The little stuff doesn't matter so much here. I like the saying "pick your battles", underwear shouldn't be one of them. Especially given the health benefits of a women/girl NOT wearing underwear. Again though...all personal preference.

Do you beleive cold air is the cause of colds too? That going outside without a hat will make you catch cold?? Just curious how antiquated you are in thinking...if it's all around or on just a few topics.

That is so true .The actual neglect can come from being so woried about what other parent is doing they neglect thier own responsibility! Again those little titer toter games .Almost as bad as he said she said.

She also didn't send clothes this week or last weeks visitation.and my 5 year old girl didn't have on underwear. I have the kids on my days off 7 out of 14 days. She is also not paying for field trips notbooks etc. For school. She also isn't using the option for additional parenting time. She leaves them with a babysitter overnight without asking if I want them. I sent a letter to the court and I get nothing from them. I don't have 1000 to get a lawyer what do I do??? Please help my kids. All I want is the rules to be followed. And I didn't see if this will get me in trouble on here but here is a link to indiana parenting time guidelines.

It is understandable that by the time two people are ready for divorce there are many angry, resentful and bitter feelings accumulated during the course of the marital relationship. Very few divorces are friendly and amicable with the former spouses becoming friends. Of course this does happen but it is more the exception than the rule. Having children to consider and care for does not seem to mediate the types of behavior displayed by many former spouses. In fact, all too often, the most resentful and angry of the two divorcing parents are all too willing to display a vindictiveness directed against the other parent by using the children as weapons in the divorce and post divorce war. These types of vengeful parents do not seem to understand that the only victims of this type of behavior are the children.

Angry Re: indiana parenting time guidelines help

Bryan, Without being able to get an attorney, you won't get very far!! It seems Indiana only looks at who has more money!! My ex "bought" custody of my kids about 2 years ago and since I cannot afford an attorney I get NOTHING from the court!! I wish I could help but unfortunatly I'm kinda in the same boat! It is so unfair how the guidelines work and if the "custodial" parent doesn't want to allow you your time your just not seeing your babies!!

Byran47805 your right on. Any lawyer telling you to start acting like a joint custody parent apparently has not been thru dealing with a ex that chooses to hide behind court systems that favor the mother. You get no compassion from this site apparently. I've experienced the same problems and feel for you. It's simple, pay money you don't have to get almost equal rights. I have paid thousands of dollars over ten years to simply have parenting guidelines abused by the mother of child. I too am in the middle of deciding to pay more just to have parenting rights. I started a blog just for dads so they can talk to each other about these problems and also so other dads can learn from my experience. www.dadsforgottonfathers.com
