Conflict of interest???
Is this a "Conflict of interest"... my wife's boss is the judge's wife. If it is, to day is the first day of court and I'm going in there without a lwayer today, Do I say something right away?
Hope you guys understand what I'm saying... cause I'm a little nervous right now and don't know if I'm typing my words right. Thanks |

Ew. That sucks. I'd say a laywer should definately be the one to determine that. I'd say do what you have to do today, then get a lawyer.

Sounds like a conflict of interest to me.
You need to object to it and ask for a change of venue now, or you will not be able to argue this after the case is decided. |

Sorry for not getting back to this thread sooner. I went to court and he wasn't one of the judges. I guess he is the one that signed or verified the paperwork she served me with.
