Default take children to England

My spouse has said he is divorcing me.

He has not yet filed.

Can I take our two kids age 4 and 6 to England for Christmas to see their aunt and uncle?

Well, if they have passports I would suppose.

Taking your children out of the country over a major holiday without his OK would probably be a bad idea - so be sure to get it. If he is OK with it, you might even contact an attorney to have them make copies of the round trip tickets so if he tries to pull anything - you have your rear covered.

Many airlines and many countries will require some proof that the other parent agrees with this.

Check with your air carrier as to what they may require.
