My husband has a five year old from a previous marriage. He [my husband] has to live by his ex-wifes scheduel becuase she decides when we get my step-son. We try and go by the papers that he was given in court but she doesnt couperate. Should we go ahead and go to the courts about it, thats not to mention that she has moved out of state when the divorce papers specifically say that either party has to notify the courts of such. Any advice would really help. And can someone let me know if step-parents have any rights?
Thank You. |

Um, yes. Court would be your option. How far away does she live now from where she originally moved? Do you know for sure that she didn't notify the courts?
Step parents really don't have rights under pretty much anything I've seen. Does the father want to go back to court? Custudy is spelled custody. |
