Child adoption
My daughter was born in 2001 in USA, Her father never saw her or attempted to see her, I have gotten married in that time and my husband has assumed the role of father. We would like to know how to go about getting her adopted by my husband and can we do it if we reside in another part of the world, other than USA. Her Biological father is not American.

Your daughter was born in America.
The father was not American. You are no longer living in America. This is not the sort of common situation for which you can expect educated, informed advice from an internet forum. Go see an attorney who has experience in international custody cases. |
