|
please help me. i need the answer asap
i am a 17 year old boy and i know longer want to live with my father in Indiana. I want to move to Texas and live with my mother but my father is making sure i can't because he has me on probation. If i run away to Texas, can the police do anything or will i be safe?

If you are on probation, you are probably not allowed to leave the State.

I dont know all of the laws in your state however, I would contact social services if I were you and see about immancipation. I dont know all of the circumstances that surround your probation however I think Legal Advocates for Children and Youth should be able to guide you....

Yes, but I'm thinking the terms of his probation may prevent him from leaving the State. It may have nothing to do with his emancipation.
I think he should check with his probation officer to find out what the restrictions are. |
