child contact issues

i was married but now divorced as husband was violent.i left with a month old child.my ex husband is trying to have contact with child.hes had supervised contact before but his aggressive behaviour was problem.hes on sex offenders list,loads of convictions inc fraud and domestic violence.its going to court again and cascaf officers are getting involved,what kind of contact can he get?can i fight for no contact?our child is so happy and stable i dont want to see him go backwards....please help many thanks

He will argue that he should have visitation.
You will argue that he should not, for the reasons you have given.
The court will make a decision. That's the way it works.
