Unhappy Aunties rights to visitation

My brother and his wife have seperated and was wondering what my rights to the three yearold girl in the middle are. Whether i get any hours with her. i am very close to this young girl, and am very upset that shehas been taken from me.

The parents need to agree, or at least one, or you will normally not have any rights.

none. she isnt your child. when and if your brother gets visitation, you are expected to see her on his time.

you do have a right to see your neice or nephew you have to go to court and file for visitation as long as they can not find anything wrong with you, you should be granted some kind of visitation

please stop giving incorrect information. she cannot go to court and get visitation with a child THAT IS NOT HERS! dad's family( and that includes the aunt) are expected to see the child on his time. they have no standing to get visitation on their own

from personal exspirence you can request visitation even if you are not a mother or father other family members have rights too.
