Default Full Mexican Law

I have a question, a few parts full.

Main question being, if a woman living in Mexico with a 1 and a half year old son is currently in a custody battle with the father of her child, who has abducted her child once before during his alloted visitation, can she end the previously set visitation privileges as so he does not abduct said child again? And if not permanently, only during and up until said custody battle has been ruled on and finalized in the courts?

I have read through the Hague Convention links that I have seen posted, and I was also planning on inquiring if 1) it applied to Mexico alone as well, along side of Mexico/US cases, and 2) if there were any alternatives(like hopefully having the child stay with his mother before the case rather than in a DIF Facility).

Being that I am not a registered member of the forums, I will be checking back daily for responses and would really appreciate any help I can get.

-Thank you and God Bless

Yes she can end visitation but she should file in court and explain why and ask the court to halt the visits temporarily until it is resolved. She can ask for an emergency motion, either in the US or Mexico or if a custody order exists now, wherever the last court ruled .
