Hello. I want to know if I can sue my ex for some reimbursement of our daughter's FSLA student loans? He has paid no money for any of her college fees or expenses during the past 4 years, which have added up to over $40k. He has terrible credit and did not want her to go to college so he would not have to pay for it. Everything has been paid for by me and my daughter so far, and now that she is almost finished with school I want to know if there is any way I can sue him for partial reimbursement of the loans?

Do you have an existing child support order?
That order is what governs normally and if you want to get more it has to be changed. Usually in advance. |

It is unlikely that he is responsible for her student loans. The loans are in here name, and are hers to pay off.
