Default Do all court orders cease with emancipation?

Daughter has turned 18 and dropped out of school, which in MN means my financial support is complete, and the income witholding has been terminated,
is the court order to pay 47% of medical bills, that my daughters mother has NEVER sent me a statement-at least quarterly-as required in order- until the support obligation was terminated, still in effect or does the termination of obligation end all matters?
Thanks for any input.

I dont think it is still in effect. It all depends what your divorce papers say. Until what age you were responsible to pay the bills. But if your ex wanted to take you back to court for the money owed on past medical bills she could.

Emancipation of a child does not terminate past obligations. The mother can file suit against you for past medical costs, but the courts will not be pleased that she let this accumulate. You can require extensive documentation from her, and possibly get her to negotiate a partial settlement.
