Confused Getting Remarried..can ex get more childsupport due to change in financial standing?

My fiance has a money hungry ex wife. He is already paying a gosh awful amount of money monthly for 1 child. We are getting married soon and she plans to take him back to court to get more money because I make good money. Can she get more money than she already gets? What can we do to protect ourselves?

No, your income cannot be used to determine CS. However, if your husband were to ever fall behind, the state/court can seize jointly held assets and banck accounts.
To protect yourself in case that ever happens, you need to keep all of your income and assets seperate from your husband's. Do not have any joint bank accounts, and always keep your personal vehicle seperate (as long as you have income and are paying for the vehicle yourself).
