Default HELP!!!!
I have been separated ( not legally ) for 3 yrs. I live in CA, my spouse in Florida w/ our 9 yr old son. I have attempted an uncontested divorce, my spouse was agreeable ( @ the time ); 2500.00 later, he refuses to file/return any forms, refuses any financial disclosure, and nothing has been filed. I now wish to seek custody of my son, as I am concerned about his health and well being. What is the best way to do this? Can I obtain my divorce independent of child custody due to different states? Shall I keep my son here and file for both after 6 months from Ca?
