i think that children need both parents. i am a mother and i do agree that many women are ignorant and want what they can get and use children as leverage. its a lot of crap i have no respect for women like that. both parents need to step up and take responsiblity for the child. there are bad moms and dads out there. women use the kids like that becasue i states let them. the assume that dads wont be there when that isnt always the truth. there should be more joint custody out there. my sons father is wonderful dad and would never trade his for the world he takes damn good care of his kid

My ex just signed over his rights, he dont want to pay child support and I had him by the balls, my husband adopted the kids.

Well that might be true for some men but my ex has no money could never keep a job and spent all the benefit money on drinking then came home to be violent towards me but this was all my fault of course! he never helped me look after the kids and spent our relationship making me feel useless and left me with low self asteem, when i finally left he physically stopped me from taking the children (i think this is so he didnt have to work) which he still has now, and to be honest he does a really crap job at looking after them.They always have headlice look scruffy and stink of cigarette smoke, their house is so dirty and smelly i cant go their anymore so i have the children at mine.I know i should fight for them in court but im so scared of loosing with this fathers rights crap now, to be honest i feel girls should be with their mums not their dads obviously within reason.

Why dont you call child protective services? They will remove kids for reasons such as a dirty house, they did it to my friend. It would give you a start on gaining cusody of your kids and dfs would automatically start a court case, it would not come out of your pocket.

Papa John...... every parent has rights- you are 100% correct on that statement. But your statement towards a mother's concern for the fathers wallet is the most ignorant and selfish thing I've heard in a long time. If you are a parent- you know it takes a LOT of money to raise a child properly. Mother's who are usually the one's with custody of the children end up footing the bill for BOTH parents- who should be equally financially responsible. Asking a father to pay support, which is VERY RARELY any more than the state mandated 20% of your income is an INCREDIBLY small price to pay- if you love your kids and care about their well being, then those dollars leaving your precious wallet should not bother you in the least. If you’re a deadbeat- and you have a problem with paying support, well then I feel sorry for you and your children. You just don't get it..

unregistered you know what most mothers dont end up footing most of the bill. its the lazy low life mothers who dont want to get off their butts and go to work that cause the fathers to lose all their money and their minds. My boyfriend has to file backruptcy becasue his wonderful ex is a loser and took all his money becasue she wont go to work. and all it was about when the divorce was going tjrough was money and I want, I want the kid, I want the house I want the property I want the camper I want all the stuff in the hosue I want all your money I want you to pay my cobra ins for a year I wanr alimony and child support and I want your 401K and I want to be sole beneficiary on all you life insurance policies > so dont tell me that most woman arent concerned with the mans wallet. They are. And its not in the best interest of the child its in the best interest of the witch.
