You will need to go to court and get an order. Not sure if you have legal aid in the states or not but you don't really need a lawyer. Just sit down, write or type out your wishes and present them to the court.

I read your post, if you go to this website, Court Programs

all of the forms are there that you will need so that you can work on getting some type of visitation. Good Luck

Another good idea is to find someone who has gone through divorce in your local courts, and ask them for copies of their motions and affidavits to use as templates and examples.

12.905a Supplemental Petition to Modify Custody or Visitation and Other Relief. 04/24/08

this is the only one that seems close to my problem . i have never had visitation appointed . this seem to be a motion to modify visitation ? would it be ok if i filed this even if i have had no visitation given by the courts yet ?

That is the one that I am having to file as well for my case, even though no divorce was involved. My daughter was born out of wedlock and Florida gives sole custody to the mother, my case is different, but to get visitation then filing that form is the start. When you file the form, the courts should tell you if you have to file any additional forms.
