help grandmother is in need of answers?

i have temp placement of 3 of my grandchildren i can not say any thing about the case since we are still going to court. on my placement papers the cps worker gave me the form is #soc156-rel and on that form it is marked concurrent plan and i would like to know what that means? also the 3 children are my sons they lived with mother and father in our home since 1994 and in 2000 she want to work and never came back now cps worker went looking for her and found her and now the kids will have there first visit with her april 29 2008 mother lives in texas we live in ca. the oldest daughter is in foster care is 14 years old and i have thee other 3 which are a set of twins 12 and a 9 year old son my grand son don't know her since he was only 1year a six months old they don't want to see her but cps worker said they don't have a choice i called the kids lawyer and he said they had a meeting and said that they want to give the mother a chance with them to visit and i asked if i may go so they won't be so scared and cps said no not a good idea so my oldest son not the father of the children if he can take them and she also said no ? i have done nothing but love these children and take care of them god knows how much i love them my grandkids don't want to go with her and last hearing one of the twins aked the judge if they found thier mother if they would have to go with her and the judges repley was do you want too? and she said no and he said then you doin't have to . but i want to know if the judge can go back on his word that he gave the kids? and if there is a statute of limitation law ? since she abandoned the kids almost 9 years ago?and if i can see if i can get legal guardinship of the kids? what is the age for the kids to be able to say they want to stay with there grandfather and i do i have a say so in this will the judge let me speck? also cps worker wanted me to do parenting classes and i was not court oreder to do i did 40 hours and she also wants me to do conciealing one on one not court oreded and i stated in feb 2008 but i had to stop because my husband got hurt and he needs me with him . and they say it will go against me in court because i stopped? cps will put a bad report against me since i want to try and get legalguardingship is that true? also my son is court ordered to go to parenting 40 hours went to 2 classes and had to leave the state because i got the kids and he could not live in the same home with them so he had no where to go . and now cps said they will not pay for his classes out some where else . i need answers and prayers thank you and good bless anna lerma you can email me if you like or call me annnalerma@aol.com 909 357 2205

I'm not a lawyer, so I can't give you any leagal answers, but I am in the same situation. I don't how CPS can force parents to take the children when it's quite obvious that they do not want them, and the children don't want to go. I think it's a big ego trip they are on, because they have the power to do it, they will. I always thought they were supposed to work in the best intrest of the children, that is clearly not the case.
Call and/or write to you state representatives, the head of your states DHS department, and document EVERYTHING. I'll be in touch...GOOD LUCK!

THANK YOU I HAVE TRYED TO GET A HOLD OF THE CPS SUPERVISTER AND SHE WILL NOT CALL ME BACK? I SPOKE TO THE CHILDRENS MOM AND I ASKED HER WERE DO I STAND AND SHE SAID RIGHT NOW SHE IS NOT GOING TO TAKE THE KIDS SHE JUST WANTS TO SEE HOW THEY ARE AND I TOLD HER IF SHE WOULD GIVE ME LEGALGUARDINSHIP BECAUSE MY SON AGREED ON HIS PART AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD THINK ABOUT IT SHE IS IN TEXAS AND I DONT THINK SHE CAN ADJUST TO THEM AFTER 9 YEARS SHE IS TO BUSY FOR THEM?ALSO TOLD HER THAT AFTER 18 MONTHS THE SYSTEM WILL DO SOMETHING WITH THEM AND I DONT KNOW IF THEY WOULD GIVE ME GUARDINGSHIP I AM SO LOST ?

i had my 3 grand kids back in may 2008 cps took them away again and said i would never be able to get them back cps worker said that i did not follow the court oder cps said the father was comeing in and out of the home ?i live in ca and he was staying in vegas with his brother' so how was that? we went to court in july and the judge will not let me have them ? he would not listen to me or the kids the cps worker was not in court but they had her on the phone? and she was makeing all the disions not the judge. i want to know if there is any way i can see if my husband and my self could try to adopt the 4 kids? i really need help were do i go ? the 4 kids are with my older son not the father.
