Indiana Custody issue

I have a 3 year old daughter who lives with her mother in Han**** county, I live in Vanderburgh. Our Paternity, Support, and Custody were set up in Gibson county. The issue is mommy's boyfriend was pulled over and got an OWI (operating while intoxicated) and Child Endangerment filed against him. He had my daughter and his in the car. According to my daughter mommy was at home. I have verified this to all be true. I tried to file an order of protection for my daughter but wasn't allowed because mommy and ******* live together. I was told by the judge to file for a support and custody modification in gibson county. He said that I can at least have this guy removed from contact with my child. Or have him supervised when with my child, I perfer not in contact at all. I have tried to find the paperwork I need to file for modification of support and custody but can not find it anywhere. The people at the court house won't even give me the form numbers I need. They say to contact an attorney but I can't afford a $2500 retainer up front? How is our judicial system so screwed up? I just want my child protected from this guy, he even had a prior drug posession charge he just got off probation fall of 2006. What can I do anyone have any Info or help suggestions for me. My support is screwed up as well that is another issue its self.

Surely, in the previous legal history of this case, there have been court filings that you could use as templates for the proper format?
If you are worried about requesting the correct amount of child support, do not bother. Just get the ball rolling by requesting custody and child support, period.
Also, before you file, familiarize yourself with the custody and child support laws of your State, which are probably available online. Google is your friend.
