since i filed for divorce my husband keeps manipulating the kids. my son seems scared to say no to him. for example, he tried talking my son into spending the night at his friends home when he didnt want to just to get him away from me. my son was upset and told me that if he didnt go dad would be mad at him. but then behind my back he told my husband that i was the one who kept him from going just to start trouble between us. another instance is my husband keeps taking him to his moms where he knows im not welcomed. he figures that way i wouldnt be able to get to him. he is also trying to make my son believe that i push him into going to my moms when he doesnt want to which is totally false because my son chose to go there but told his dad a different story. now i find my son lying to me and hiding things he seems to be plotting with my husband behind my back. i dont know what to do. how i can inform the law guardian of all this and not make it look like im the troublemaker? my husband totally knows how to play on the kids to get them to believe everything he says and constantly makes me feel like the bad guy and i feel totally helpless.

You may want to ask for a joint session or counseling opportunity to explain and vent these issues...or perhaps write it all out and have others review and see if this issue is worth taking further...
