Default Paternity Test

Does a man who has had no part in the raising of a child for two years have any right to demand a paternity test? His name is not on the birth certificate, the mother of the child and I are married, and he has said if we decide to stay together he would want a paternity test to get visitation with our daughter. Can he do that?

Default Re: Paternity Test

He can file an affidavit with the court stating that he believes he is the father of the child, and the reasons why.
Why would he request this if he did not have good reason to believe he is the father?
