I have a one year old girl with a man who is not in the states legally. When ever we get into any kind of argument he threatens me with going to court. Does he have any leg to stand on. We separated seven months ago due to his bad drinking and cheating. He now lives with a lady he had an affair with, and to be honest I don't feel very comfortable with my daughter being around her. Is there any court that would give him any sort of custody?

Very doubtful.
As the child was born out of wedlock, most States grant you sole custody by default. He will have to file in court if he wishes to have any parental rights, or visitation. |
