I am in a custody dispute. I have an 8 year old and i was wondering what my chances would be obtaining a in camera with the Magistrate? Should i request one and is it something both parties need to agree on?

I doubt the magistrate would be interested in an in camera interview. You would have to convince the court of its value, and you would have to allay suspicions that you had coached the child.
