Depends on the laws of your State.
The payor may be required to notify the Child Support Collection Agency of the change in income. The CSEA may then seek an increase in support, but generally will only do so if the change in support is greater than 10%. |

yes it may, any raises/changes of your pay will increase and do report to the agency everytime there's changes as far as your pay rate either change of job pays. As I was in relationship with the mother of my daughter since high school ...we dated and she was pregnant at 17 but we graduated, relationship was fading at the age of my daughter at 2 years old, at the time when my xgfriend labor and me signing that I was the father. That's when I started to pay and Hospital Bill was on me for $5,000 dollars and I/we had no insurance...bill on me! after 3 we seperated on our own lives as I was in Technical College and graduated and working at same time and paying same time of child support and paying loans for 18 years, when my daughter turned 18 (scholarship gone to college and graduating this may...she is now 21, behalf on my genetic's college ancestry..., thankfully) on her 18th, I was sent a letter from the county that I will be done after a balance of (back child arrears support) 2,000 dollars left...I started paying that off every month of $500.00 dollars to finish it off in four months...I was sent a letter that they will send a letter to the credit bureau and certificate - paid in full certificate! (wat a joke, but atleast an evidence and also keep records of the monthly statement in 3 ring binder of proof you' ve been paying all the years) but I felt relief when it was done....during the years on my hardship...off and on had good jobs and odd jobs..when you have arrears...income tax refunds, the county will recapture that to pay-off your arrears which is good, just keep paying everymonth no matter what!!!!!! abide/work with the county as I have, they will credit you for it and along the years. Interest will be stayed as well! if you get laid off/fired even though you will recieve compensation/unemployment or whatsover...tell them, it will be hard but it pays off at the end....I'm 38, most of dead beat dads are in their 40's, 50's, 60's or even as early 20's and owes thousands of dollars (no life at the end) and some states such as here...will have a bench warrant, lose a driver license and lose the previlage to travel without a consent from county and and be reported to the Credit bureau as well. just pay, it pay's at the end with relief!
