To all you Testy Kickers,

The following makes my position crystal clear.

States are offering HPV vaccinations to 6th grade girls on medicaid. I have a great option to save the taxpayers HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF $$$

Make it a felony for 6th grade girls to fornicate. Before the vaccine is administered they are examined. If they have had sex then they are to be arrested, prosecuted, imprisoned until 18, and upon release registered as a sex offender.

This should curb the epedemic at minimal cost and Abstinance training will be many fold more successful.

You don't abandon a child you have created for any reason other than your own selfishness, no matter what absent fathers claim.

The original poster did not tell us the age of the child. For all you know the kid could be a week old, and the father may not have been able to get around yet (probably not the case). There is not enough information for you to make an inteligent judgement about the father.

To the original poster, I have been looking up alot of stuff on this issue because I am going to be a father and the mother wants to basicly claim I have no rights. I am dealing with this in SC, your state might be different. If he believes himself to be the biological father, he can file to establish paternity at any time after the child is born. My ex-wife went through this with her daughter, the father took her to court for custody. The judge allowed him one hour a month of supervised visitation for 6 months so he could attempt to build a relationship with her. So the courts would probably award him supervised visitation, but it is unlikely you can keep him out of her life unless you can prove it would be harmful to the child.

Huff

So... a player, better bring your "A" game.

"My Ex-wife"

no wonder she doesnt want give your name to your bastard.

I hope the judge hits you with every rock in the road.

One day, you are gonna run into wrong Daddy and you wont be making anymore bastards. You're probably not useful to a woman now.

Not sure what my ex-wife has to do with my current situation. I was married before, and have been divorced for 2 1/2 years. Did you have a point or are you just going around trying to piss people off?
