I need Help
My ex wife sent both my children to live with me and a petition for a
modification of support was entered. The paperwork says that there was a material change in circumstances and the minor children are in the sole custody of their father. She did not show up in court to contest. She has came and took one of my children out of state without my consent and will not tell me where they are or send her back, she insists that she is still the custodial parent and the paper that I have does not state that she is not still the custodial parent, do I have any recourse? I now reside in Arizona and both children lived there with me at the time of the modification in Alabama. This has been going on for years with her sending them to me when she had a hardship and then just uprooting them and taking them back and then moving from state to state. |

[and the minor children are in the sole
custody of their father.] If that has been signed by the judge you can hold her in contempt! |

Re: I need Help
It was actually signed by the state's attorney and filed in the court. I checked with the circuit clerk and they said that is the last modification entered and that it is a legal document.
