Yes. You have to let her take the kids.

You have to let her take the kids unless she is being abusive with them or you can prove neglect like leaving them alone unsupervised at a young age. If you suspect abuse you may want to talk to a lawyer or contact social services.

I went through this with my older two boys. I am their mother. They lived with me (they are now grown). Their dad refused to pay child support. He would make plans to pick them up for their weekend with him, and then he would not show up. When he did take them they were miserable. The week they were gone at Christmas was miserable for me (and them). Today the oldest (age 26) has not spoken to his dad in 10 years. My 22 year old rarely talks to his dad and his little or no respect for him. Kids know who the responsible and loving parent is. I am now divorced again with two children age 11 and 12. My ex has not seen the kids for four months. He is behind in child support. So hang in there. Be proud of the fact that you are a great dad. Your daughters will love and respect you all their life.

Be a little more discriminating with your next marriage, OK?
