Who can help me?!?
My ex husband has physical custody of my 2 children. I have partial custody. He made up the papers with his lawyer last year, told me a lie on why he needed the papers. I was a fool and signed the papers. Now I see my children a lot less. The papers say I am to be involved with health, education etc. None of that applies. Now he said that he has changed lawyers and wants to revise the custody papers and make them more strict. It is what he wants and he wants me to sit behind and let him make all the decisions. He has taken all my rights as a mother away. I suffer from clinical depression and am on disability. I am seeing three different doctors and taking 4 different medications 4 times a day. This weekend is my weekend to be with my children and he said that I cannot see them because of my depression. I have done nothing wrong and am stable enough to see my children, my doctors even agree. Who can I get legally to help me see my children this weekend. I have no court order telling me I can't see my kids. He has no right. I DO NOT HAVE MONEY FOR A LAWYER! Can anyone give me advise? Thank you for any feedback. A Loving Mother

He does not get to make that decision.
If need try to contact legal aid or at least have a lawyer briefly look over what is signed. If you disagree you can go back into court even without a lawyer and ask for a more fair agreement. |
