how old does my daughter haveto be...
Hello, I was just wondering how old my daughter hasto be before she can refuse to see her father. He is not a big part of her life and she does not want to tolerate his girlfriend anymore. She is now 12 years of age. Does she still haveto go and visit her father when he wants to see her?

In most states it is a factor but only a factor and the child cannot decide.
But if the matter has to go to court, a court will consider the child's view at that age. |
