fatal car accident
my daughter was a passenger in a two car accident,no one was ticketed, she later died.I was told by the officer that I might have a good civil case against the driver of the car she was in,but he is only on SSI.,doesn't have job. My insurance company told us to file with both insurance company's. The officer told us there was no witnesses except for the 3 people in the other car and that they don't usually give tickets due to the fact the state couldn't file civil charges against anyone later, but probably won't file on this accident. The boy she was with is 40 yrs.old and covered under he's parent's insurance, with full coverage. State of Oklahoma. So we don't know which way to go.Any help with this is welcomed. Also how long do we have to file with insurance or wrongful death suite?

Retain an insurance lawyer--they would take it on contigency and sue the persons involved and their insurers.
They can all sort it out in court. You may have to meet with several lawyers to see if your case is viable. |
