Need advise for traffic citation
Live in Illinois and daughter involved in minor traffic accident in Kansas which she received a citation. She went to court expecting to have it dismissed but has to now appear to have the state decide if she is guilty. Other party did not appear and is satisfied having their car fixed. Always thought that these get dismissed if other party doesn't show...

A civil case should then be dismissed but the state can still ticket her on the state's behalf.
